Tulum Yoga Retreat
I had the exceptional opportunity to attend a 6-day yoga retreat in the beautiful city of Tulum, Mexico. This course was hosted by Ashley Gardner, one of the most famous Western yoga instructors, an ambassador for Liforme Yoga, and one of the most recognized female yoga teachers.
We stayed in a dedicated yoga retreat area. Our day started with a sunrise meditation for about 30 minutes to an hour. After that, we did about 2 hours of power yoga, which is a very strength-focused practice. The daily schedule also included healthy meals and activities like breathing exercises. In the evenings, we had another session of power yoga, and we ended our day with a meditation by the beach.
This retreat was one of the best experiences of my life. Not only did I meet many people from around the world, but I also gained valuable insights. I learned new techniques and effective teaching methods from Ashley. All the participants were at an advanced level, and I’m happy to have made great friends from different parts of the world.
This course was a fantastic opportunity to get familiar with the latest and most advanced yoga methods worldwide. Now, I can teach these techniques to my students in my classes. This experience not only helped my personal growth but also allowed me to enhance the quality of my teaching.
This retreat demonstrated how yoga can bring people from all over the world together and provide an opportunity for learning, growth, and making new friendships.
